The liquid or slurry material forms a film on the surface of the drum heated by water vapor or other heat carriers. The drum will be dried during one revolution. Use a scraper to scrape off the dried product, and the exposed drum surface will come into contact with the raw materials again, and form film, and then dry and be scraped off.
