Potato residue is a by-product of starch factories, alcohol factories and other manufacturers. It contains a kind of inherent moisture and high viscosity. In the traditional drying process, it is easy to stick to the wall, agglomerate, and block. The drying equipment cannot be produced normally, and the interests of users are damaged. The "special dryer for cassava residue" produced by our factory can dry all kinds of potato residue with high moisture content to less than 10% at a time. The equipment is equipped with special devices such as temperature adjustment, lifting, guiding and breaking, which effectively avoids the phenomenon of wall sticking and blockage. The cassava residue dryer is mainly composed of a heat source, a feeder, a rotary drum, a discharge machine, an induced draft fan, an unloader and a power distribution cabinet. After the dehydrated wet cassava residue enters the cassava residue dryer, it is evenly dispersed in the dryer and fully contacted with the hot air under the turning of the copy board evenly distributed in the drum, which accelerates the drying heat and mass transfer. During the drying process, the tapioca slag is discharged to the star-shaped discharge valve at the other stage of the dryer under the action of the inclined copy board and the heat medium. The selection and design of the technological parameters of the production line and the technical parameters and structure of each equipment were obtained after careful analysis of the cassava residue materials, and were verified by the actual cassava residue drying test. In the design of the plan, the characteristics of cassava residue with high moisture content, high protein content, and high viscosity were fully considered, and a series of unique and unique technologies and processes were adopted to solve it to ensure a good drying effect.
