The issue of sludge disposal and utilization is receiving increasing attention from people. The sludge dryer is designed for dewatering and drying urban sewage. What is the purpose of dry sludge?
1. Heavy Metal Recovery
In the wastewater treatment process of smelting plants, printed circuit board factories, electroplating plants and other enterprises, the sludge generated contains a large amount of heavy metals such as copper, nickel, gold, and silver. If these metal components are discharged, it will be a serious pollution. Significant economic benefits can be obtained through smelting and extraction.
2. Incineration Power Generation
The calorific value of dried sludge is approximately 1300 to 1500 kcal. Three tons of dry sludge is equivalent to one ton of 4500 kilocalories of coal. Dry sludge can be mixed with a certain proportion of coal for incineration, which helps to reduce fuel consumption costs.
3.Used as a Filling Material for Cement or Bricks
After being treated by dewatering equipment and sludge drying machines, sewage can be used as filling material for brick or cement production to reduce damage to land resources and the environment. Sludge bricks have low cost and stable material properties.
